Clinic Compliance Kit - Disclaimer

Important information before purchasing or using the Kit

The Virtually Fabulous Clinic Compliance Kit is designed to provide independent aesthetic practitioners and small clinics with editable template documents that can be used as a practical starting point when developing their own business policies, procedures and supporting documentation.

The documents are templates. They are not bespoke to your clinic unless a separate bespoke service has expressly been agreed.

No guarantee of compliance or inspection outcome

Purchasing or using the Kit does not guarantee compliance with UK law, CQC requirements, Healthcare Improvement Scotland requirements, Healthcare Inspectorate Wales requirements, professional standards, insurer requirements or any other regulatory or inspection framework. It does not guarantee that a registration, inspection, audit or assessment will be passed.

Regulatory requirements vary according to the services provided, the professionals involved, the location of the business and the way the clinic operates. Some requirements may not apply to you and additional requirements may apply that are not covered by the Kit.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for reviewing every document before adopting it and ensuring it accurately reflects your business. This includes your services, premises, equipment, staff, prescribing and clinical arrangements, emergency processes, insurance, record keeping and professional/regulatory obligations.

Where you are unsure, you should obtain advice from an appropriately qualified legal, regulatory, clinical, insurance or other professional adviser.

Keeping documents current

Law, guidance, standards and your own business arrangements can change. You are responsible for reviewing and updating your documents. Unless expressly included in your purchase, the Kit does not include an ongoing update or monitoring service.
